Halloween
It’s the spooky season, and as a not spooky person I don’t often do much to celebrate. I’m not a fan of horror movies, I’m not a person who tends to decorate in general let alone for a specific season, and a renewed interest in being healthy means candy cannot cross the threshold of my apartment. However I do love seeing the decorations of others and a fascination with the macabre is healthy. So I want to wish everyone a safe and spooky Halloween, no matter what you may be doing. I’ll be dressing up with a friend and bouncing around the parade route in Manhattan, look forward to some photos on my Instagram.
In the meantime, here’s some updates of what I am working on.
Fucked Up Wholesome
Episode 3 is released, we talked about Sausage Party and all things dirty at Disney. Go give it a listen. Apple or Spotify.
Episode 4 has been recorded and is currently being edited. I did a lot of research about popular alien abduction stories, so look forward to that.
Episode 5 is currently being written, we’re going to be talking about my favorite game show of all time, and I am really looking forward to talking about it with Kate.
I also have two comics projects underway. I’m not going to share their titles until they are much closer to being finished, but going forward in these sections I will be referring to them as Project Luna and Project Ring.
Project Luna is currently with an artist, and we’re working on the first 5 pages of a 20 page story. As the art finishes I may share a few things on Instagram, so keep an eye out there.
Project Ring is still in the scripting phase, but I do have an artist interested, which is why this has become my main writing project for the time being.
I’m also going to try out NaNoWriMo again this year. I have an idea I’ve been kicking around and I’m not sure what to do with it, so I figure why not try to write it out during NaNoWriMo and then figure out what it’s final form will be after that. I may even share my word count in these Monday updates, so keep an eye out for that.
Have a Happy Halloween and I’ll post a new update next week.
